The acquisition of Two21 consolidates 8Squad’s position as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Australia.

8Squad, a leading national boutique Salesforce Partner, today announces it has acquired Two21, a prominent Salesforce Partner based in Perth. The new 8Squad team in Western Australia will give businesses access to tier-one skills, expertise and local knowledge to help them successfully scale and navigate digital transformation projects.

The acquisition of Two21 comes at a time of significant growth for 8Squad and is the final piece of the map for its national footprint. Since launching in 2019, CEO Frank Cuiuli has grown 8Squad from a team of 20 in Melbourne to more than 100 employees in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth. 

Last year, 8Squad grew its team by 20 per cent and won major clients from among the ASX 100, some of the world’s largest gaming groups, innovative fintechs and major state government departments. The company’s growth and achievements were recognised at industry awards including the Deloitte Tech Fast 50, the ARN Innovation Awards and the CRN Fast50. 

In July 2022, 8Squad announced it had received funding from Salesforce Ventures as part of the SI Trailblazer Fund. The company was also named a global Salesforce partner for Customer 360 for Financial Services, the only business from the Asia-Pacific region to gain that recognition. 8Squad joins the likes of software companies including DocuSign, Stripe and Zoom, some of the 400 companies that Salesforce Ventures has invested in and partnered with.

Two21 was founded by Kel Henderson in 2017 with the goal to help Not-for-Profit organisations in Perth with technology solutions. Since then, the team has expanded to help other businesses and government agencies, but the values that started the company still ring true.
